American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA)
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) [also known as the Stimulus Package] was signed into law by President Obama in February 2009. The purpose of the Recovery Act is to create and save jobs, jumpstart our economy, and build the foundation for long-term economic growth.
Although libraries were not specifically named in the bill, there may be opportunities for libraries to partner with other agencies to receive funds. Here are some resources to get more information about this important legislation.
