The New York Council for the Humanities has awarded the library a grant as part of their Reading Between the Lines program. Historian and North Salem resident, John Steele Gordon, will lead the four part discussion series. Gordon has a distinguished writing career.

Irene Nemirovsky was rounded up in Paris in 1944 and transported to Auschwitz where she died. Suite Francaise comprises the first two parts of a trilogy describing the Nazi invasion of Paris in June 1942.

The Gift of Murder: Discussion and Book Signing by
Gail Farrelly and Liz Zelvin.
Join authors, Gail Farrelly and Liz Zelvin, as they discuss The Gift of Murder at the Eastchester Public Library on Monday, November 30th at 7:00 p.m. The Gift of Murder is the fourth in a series of holiday crime anthologies released to benefit Toys for Tots. The books will be available for sale at the library. Ms. Farrelly and Ms. Zelvin will sign copies at the conclusion of the program. Refreshments will be served.
